Spruce up your table with this beautiful runner featuring the Tiiliskivi (brick) pattern designed by Marimekko founder Armi Ratia in 1954. Made from a linen and cotton blend, this runner is made using a jacquard knit in a rich charcoal color with the reverse side in beige. Machine wash warm, air dry. Made in Estonia.

Founded in 1951 by visionary Finnish textile designer Armi Raitia and her husband, Viljo, Marimekko grew from a small textile-printing firm into an international phenomenon. From its beginnings as a textile design company, Marimekko (meaning "Mary's dress") branched out into everything from toys to dinnerware to architecture, becoming something of a lifestyle brand in the 1960s and 70s. The company's outstanding designers revolutionized modern printed fabrics and fashion. Today the company continues to collaborate with young artists, encouraging experimentation. The result is spirited, non-traditional patterns and vivid colors.

  • Pattern Designer: Armi Raita for Marimekko
