Butter Keeper

A simple, handmade vessel to keep your butter softened and spreadable. Water in the base of the crock creates a seal so no refrigeration is necessary.  Here's how it works:

• * Place a bit of water to the bottom of the keeper—the water should touch the top of the butter when you put the lid on.
• * Add enough room-temperature butter to the top so that it is full, but not overflowing.
• *We recommend changing the water every few days to keep butter fresh for up to a month.
• *If your butter begins to soften too much, simply place it in the fridge until it firms up.
