A beautiful pouch to use on its own as a purse or to help organize things within a larger handbag. This patterned fabric was hand-printed in Kyoto. It depicts a geometric asanoha pattern, which represents hemp leaves. Because hemp is a strong plant that grows quickly, asanoha is meant to represent rapid growth and good fortune. Made in the USA using traditional Japanese fabrics.
“Love them. Wear them. Hand them down.” That’s Kiriko’s motto and we couldn’t agree more. Based in Portland, Oregon, Kiriko makes textiles that combine American and Japanese craftsmanship, mixing traditional patterns and heritage fabrics.
