A beautiful, cozy throw pillow in 100% merino wool. Utilizing simple everyday subjects and shapes, the artwork by Barcelona-based German artist Sabine Finkenauer brings us an interplay of representative and abstract expression based on repetition. Her exquisite art pieces, created by hand using oil pastels, are now realized using different techniques and materials. The cover includes a concealed zipper for easy removal and laundering. Made in Estonia.

Please note - as cushion covers are sewn using the whole width of the fabric pattern may differ from what's pictured.

Founded in 1951 by visionary Finnish textile designer Armi Raitia and her husband, Viljo, Marimekko grew from a small textile-printing firm into an international phenomenon. From its beginnings as a textile design company, Marimekko (meaning “Mary’s dress”) branched out into everything from toys to dinnerware to architecture, becoming something of a lifestyle brand in the 1960s and 70s. The company’s outstanding designers revolutionized modern printed fabrics and fashion. Today the company continues to collaborate with young artists, encouraging experimentation. The result is spirited, non-traditional patterns and vivid colors.
