Native bees are gentle, solitary creatures with extraordinary pollinating abilities. They prefer to nest alone. With around 3600 species of native to North America, these bees are essential to the pollination of flowers, vegetables and spring fruit trees. Fun facts: one native bee pollinates two to three times more than a honeybee, and rarely stings.
