The Puikea sporty crew socks are made of a cotton blend, featuring the classic poppy flower of Maija Isola's Unikko (poppy) pattern on the back of the sock. Machine wash cold, line dry. Made in Portugal.

Founded in 1951 by visionary Finnish textile designer Armi Raitia and her husband, Viljo, Marimekko grew from a small textile-printing firm into an international phenomenon. From its beginnings as a textile design company, Marimekko (meaning “Mary’s dress”) branched out into everything from toys to dinnerware to architecture, becoming something of a lifestyle brand in the 1960s and 70s. The company’s outstanding designers revolutionized modern printed fabrics and fashion. Today the company continues to collaborate with young artists, encouraging experimentation.
