Designed in 1958 by Mori Masahiro, a pioneer of post-war Japanese industrial design in ceramics, this drip-free pot won the inaugural Good Design prize in 1961. The most iconic piece of ceramic design in modern Japan, Mori’s Soy Sauce Bottle went on to receive the Special Prize for Long-Selling Good Design Products by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization in 1977.
