Combining Marimekko's classic round tray with a minimal oak stand creates a wonderfully modern side table for your living space. The extra large tray features Maija Isola’s graphic Savanni (savanna) from 1966, a large-scale and impressive pattern in greens and blues where two curvy striped elements alternate. Tray simply rests on the stand. Wipe clean. Flat packed. Tray made in Sweden, stand made in Slovenia.

Founded in 1951 by visionary Finnish textile designer Armi Raitia and her husband, Viljo, Marimekko grew from a small textile-printing firm into an international phenomenon. From its beginnings as a textile design company, Marimekko (meaning “Mary’s dress”) branched out into everything from toys to dinnerware to architecture, becoming something of a lifestyle brand in the 1960s and 70s. The company’s outstanding designers revolutionized modern printed fabrics and fashion. Today the company continues to collaborate with young artists, encouraging experimentation. The result is spirited, non-traditional patterns and vivid colors.

  • Pattern Designer: Anna Danielsson for Marimekko
  • Country of Design: Finland
  • Materials: Laminated fabric over plywood (tray), oak (stand)
  • Measurements: diameter 26" H 12"
