Good Design Since 2008
We're so excited to once again be hosting WWU Industrial Design's ReMade project! ReMade challenges 12 junior-level Industrial Design students to transform discarded materials into market-ready products - moving from concept to storefront in just eight weeks. Ideal has hosted the opening reception and sale since 2009. Stop by Friday, May 30 from 6-9pm to meet the designers and take home a piece of sustainable innovation.
This year’s theme, Circularity, explores how products can be designed for disassembly, recyclability, and material recovery. Expect a vibrant mix of home goods, fitness gear, and playful decor - each crafted from reclaimed materials and accompanied by student-designed packaging and branding.
A limited quantity run of each design will be for sale at Ideal from Friday evening, May 30 to June 13 or until sold out. ReMade products are only available for sale in-store with students receiving 70% of each sale.
