Happy Thanksgiving! We Appreciate You!
It's hard to believe this is our 15th holiday season! Thank you so much for your support and patience through thick and thin. We couldn't have done it without you and we treasure the relationships we've forged over the years. Not only have you seen countless designs pass through our doors, you've trusted us with stories and experiences from your lives, introduced us to new product designs, given dozens of restaurant and movie tips and we've watched each other's kids and pets grow up. You are more than customers - you are our community.We are grateful for your support of not only Ideal, but of all the locally-owned small businesses that make downtown Bellingham strong. Black Friday - November 25
Family in town? Skip the mall and depressing big box stores. Bring your folks downtown to enjoy Bellingham’s unique mix of small retailers, restaurants and bars. We’ll be here from 10-6 with free cookies and you can enter to win a beautiful Marimekko apron.
Shop Small Saturday - November 26
This is a great day to show some love for all your favorite local small businesses that make this community special. We’ll be open 10-6 and offering a complimentary gift with each purchase, both online and in-store. This is always a very fun and festive day in the shop!
Countdown to Winter - 12/1 through 12/21
Help us count the days until the Winter Solstice. Follow us on social media and watch for our daily “Winter Word.” Be the first person to come in the shop and say the mystery word to staff - you win a prize!
First Friday - 12/2 open late
We’re all decked out for the holiday season and fully stocked with gifts for everyone on your list! Come downtown for dinner, a festive stroll and shopping at many local retailers open late. Bonus - any purchase at Ideal during Art Walk earns you a raffle ticket to win a $50 Banter gift card.

Because we love to help you find the perfect gift for even the toughest customers on your list, we've been busy putting together thematic collections to make it easy. From kitchen tools, handmade jewelry, Japanese designs, children's books, happy hour, and so much more, we'll be sharing these guides soon via email and on social media.
Current Open Hours
We are currently open Monday - Saturday, 10-6 and Sundays 12-5 but will be extending our hours soon to allow shopping after work/dinner. Stay tuned for more details.
